The team is in place :-) And other news....

• Well, when I found out I would be having a baby in February, one of my first thoughts was, "I sure hope my nurse is back from her maternity leave by then!".  :-)  Yes, my favorite nurse, Shaun, who was with me when I delivered the twins, is working on the 14th and will be with me, barring any unforseen events......like the baby coming early.  She is not working on the 13th, so I guess God worked all this out for me!  :-)  So....my wonderful nurse and my doctor that I love will both be with me again for this delivery.  Our same team, different baby.  I am excited and relieved.  They both bring me comfort, so I hope all goes as planned.  (Like no baby till the 14th...).  We'll see how it goes.  But for now, that is our plan! 
• I had a stomach "thing" late Monday night and Tuesday morning.  I only threw up once, but I was in a LOT of pain for hours.  I don't know what the problem was, but I was so tired from being up all night.  I called my mom about 7 am, she arrived at 8 am and took care of the twins.  I missed them terribly, I could hear them going about their day.  Emmy said, "Where's my Momma?".  :-(  I was just too weak to chase after them.  I have to say, I love when my mom is here.  She manages to keep the kids straight, do dishes, laundry, clean.....it's so nice.  I felt a lot better last night and today.  I am so glad because I thought I was headed for the hospital to prevent dehydration.  I personally think it had to do with the Coca-Cola I drank at the dr.'s office to get the baby kicking.  I have thrown up after drinking it before.  Weird.  I have nothing against Coke, Sprite is a favorite of mine.  I just can't drink traditional Coke. 
• I have been a slacker lately as far as cooking goes.  I know I should give myself a break, but seriously....eating out is expensive.  Convenience stuff isn't all that good.  Dustin's grandma sent us some soup and we've eaten that the last two nights.  It is awesome.  She makes THE BEST soup in the world!  I think that's why I got well so fast.  Love her!
• Sunday is my baby shower at church.  I am really looking forward to it.  I wasn't a member there when I had the twins, so they are pampering me with a shower.  Fun!  :-)  I really didn't think I'd have a shower this time, so I'm just going to enjoy it.  My church family is awesome!  I feel so uplifted when I leave church.  The music, the sermons, the fellowship, it's great!
• I think Emilynn is starting to understand something about the baby.  She points to the cradle and says "baby".  We'll see.  I feel kind of guilty that they can't understand what's going to happen.  We'll get through it. 
• I am seriously, seriously craving sweets lately.  I hadn't craved much at all this pregnancy....but I have to have something sweet every day now. 
• The weather has been so nice, the kids have been playing outside every day.  Where is winter?  I'm not complaining.  It's nice to get fresh air.  I just can't chase the kids too well these days.

Well, I'm off to bed.....just felt like rambling really.  That is all the updates for now.  We are just plugging along, counting down the days- less than two weeks to go!  :-)  I can't believe I'll have 3 kids in less than 2 weeks.  3 in diapers.  3 two years old and under.  It's going to be a wild journey!  I need to get myself mentally prepared for lack of sleep and increase in duties around here!  No matter how tired I am, when I walk in those bedrooms each morning, the kids expect a smile, energy, and a great day.  It's awesome and I've never felt so loved like I do when I go in to the kids each morning. Dustin and I always talk about how nice it is to feel so loved, they are so happy to see you no matter what.   No where else does anyone jump up and down to see me and scream for hugs, kisses, and to talk to me about all kinds of things.  It's precious!  We are so blessed!!!!!
