A post a day in September-we'll see how that goes! Today is day 1, let's see how long I can keep it up!!! One challenge is a lot of times at night-Dustin is on the computer. I give up and go to bed! I just can't post from my Kindle Fire, it's too hard to type so much on the touch screen (in my opinion!).
Anyway- I wanted to remind anyone who is planning to do Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes that now is a great time to find stuff for the boxes. School supplies are at rock bottom prices right now. I also found things on clearance at Walmart, like yo-yos, jump ropes, kalidescopes, etc. The kids helped me pick out things and it is so rewarding. I don't know that they'll help me pack them this year, I still think they may not be as excited to part with the stuff when it comes down to it, but we'll see.
I really prayed over our boxes last year and for the children who received them. I wondered if the little boy who got a John Deere tractor loved it and carried it around as much as Carson. Or if the little girl loved her dolly as much as Emilynn loves dolls, especially her favorite beloved "Chuckie Sue".
