I posted on how I loved our Bible study on Sunday. As a follow up, since tonight is Bible study night, I have to mention what happened Sunday. I got to Sunday School and church with the kiddos and the pastor started his sermon. It was on anger! I had just posted about how I was angry about something. It's funny how a lot of the time the sermon seems aimed right at us, isn't it? I was amazed at the message God had for me. The pastor mentioned how when we speak and act in anger, we sever relationships and then we cannot be a witness to those people anymore about God. He said a lot more that I can't really remember word for word, but it was just what I needed to hear that day.
Carson came home and kept telling Dustin, "I went to church Dad". It was cute. They really love church now and enjoy going. They always remind us to pray before we eat and at bedtime. I'm hoping to get them a CD of songs called "The Rizers", short for the memorizers-so they can start learning scriptures through catchy little songs. I don't know if anyone else has heard of them. I haven't heard the songs yet, but I read great reviews on them.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to our 3rd week of Bible Study and my Mommy time.
Nicole & I have snack for this week-I have been cooking up a storm the past few weeks! I keep signing up for cooking and I've really felt led to cook for people lately. I'm not sure why...I just have. I feel God placing it on my heart because it is something I can do, even with the kids. There are lots of things that I don't sign up for at church because it just isn't possible right now, but cooking- that I can handle!
