May We Never Forget

I was in a college class when I first heard about 9-11.  We were promptly sent home as the college shut down.  I remember watching t.v. all day long...well into the night.  Just glued to it.
This year I am attending a ceremony at the twins' school in remembrance of every life lost during that tragedy.  The school puts a flag out to represent each life lost and there is a ceremony that follows.
The twins' know what happened on 9-11, and they have been learning "God Bless America".  It is so precious to hear such innocent little ones sing it.  They may be singing it during the ceremony, I am not sure.
I hope everyone takes the time to pray for those who lost a loved one or were injured on that day, and also all the emergency responders who worked tirelessly to save lives.
May we never forget.  May we teach our children so although they may not have lived through it, they never forget.
