Today is my precious nephew, Landon's, 2nd birthday!
He has been such a sweet addition to our family. It's been so fun to watch him grow the past 2 years, and also watch my children interact with their cousin. They each have a different relationship with him.
Carson likes to be his "babysitter" and will follow him around the entire time we are at my grandma's "watching him" and reporting on what he's doing.
Emilynn does pretty much the same thing, but less of it. She will mother him a bit though and report back to "Aunt Bamanda" what "baby Landon" has done.
Henry...oh Henry. He and Landon have a love/hate relationship. Henry likes to bully Landon because he's the only one smaller than him. We are working through this, and actually they seem to be getting along much better the past month or so (thankfully!). They both have a tendency to get into mischief, so I keep telling them if they would ever join forces rather than fight, they would REALLY get into some stuff!
I am sure this coming year, as they are 2 & 3 will prove that to be the case!
We are anxiously awaiting Landon's Paw Patrol party on Saturday!!!
And as an Aunt, I am looking forward to watching him grow in the coming year and see all the new stuff he can do! I mean, I love babies, don't get me wrong. But I really love it more when they are about 2-3 and can start talking and interacting so much more. It should be fun & also to see someone else going through the "terrible twos!" Haha! It seems like just yesterday I made his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday cake.
