Big things happening today!!!!

Today was graduation day!  It was such a cute little program the kids did.  I am surprised I didn't cry!  I held it together though.  I am sad the year is done.  Will I feel that way each and every year's end?  I don't know.  I've never done this before!  I do know that I hope Carson doesn't fight me every single school day next year! I also hope Henry will quit being stubborn and finish his potty training so he can go to pre-school.   Those are my hopes for the fall!  :-)
I am SO proud of my little graduates though, they have come so far this year!!!  We are so blessed to have gained so many new friends, especially their patient, loving teacher, Mrs. S.!  I couldn't have chosen a better teacher, especially to help with Carson's school anxiety.  We are looking forward to Henry having her as well!

Something else is going on today.  Something BIG.  Bigger than Pre-K graduation!

It's surgery day!  The cleft palate surgeries started today!

You can go to www.stji.org to follow the progress.  Just scroll down and there's a place you can click to see pictures from the first day.

Here is a picture from the site........isn't she absolutely precious?  I am honored to have helped in a small, small way.  I can't imagine the hope these parents feel.
