- I have had a few issues with the computer lately, mainly it's gotten slow. I am going to get it worked on this week, so hopefully it will make blogging and just doing things online in general easier! That's really not a good excuse for not updating though, mainly I just enjoy being offline! Reading is what I prefer to do in my spare time. :-)
- I have been up and at 'em early today, showered and ready for the day. I have been trying to clean up from the busy, busy weekend! My days go SO much better and I am so much more productive when I can get up and get a shower to start the day. A lot of people tell me they would stay in their PJs all day if they were stay-at-home moms. My response is- No, you wouldn't! Sitting around in PJs is WAY overrated! (In my opinion). :-) Plus, I am raising adults and that is not the example I want to set for them. Also, we always have somewhere to go, so unless I want to go to the store with the giant cowlick I get every single night, a shower is a must! :-) Now, if I can get up even earlier to get my walking in before we start our day. Baby steps!
- Is anyone else having fly issues right now? Maybe it's just our house since the kids seem to hold the door open for approximately 37 seconds before actually stepping outside. A flyswatter is on my list of essentials for today! I can't go another day without owning one! I think the last one was broken by the kids.
- It has been so hot since last week that the kids didn't even stay outside much at all. You know that is bad because they go out in all weather.
- We had a fun weekend with a church kids' outing, a family reunion, and lots of family time. Now, I am ready to finally get to watch my baby sister play in her all-star tournament tonight. As you know my family loves ball! Dustin doesn't share this love and just shakes his head at us. I just hope Alyssa has some innings left to pitch so I can see her! And yes, I guess we are a little crazy if I'm willing to drive an hour and take 3 kids with me to watch a game! Ha! I did talk my mom into riding with me, so we'll make it what my kids like to call "an adventure!" I am trying to get all my cleaning done and I will have to cook supper super-early so my hubby will have something to eat. :-) I am sure no matter what I feed them, the kids will STILL want something from the concession stand. I can't say much, we used to love visiting the concession stand ourselves. The food just seems to taste better than what your mom has packed from home! I will still smuggle in some snacks, a mom's gotta try, right? :-)
- Well, I know I haven't had a lot to catch up on, but I honestly can't remember what's gone on the past week! Maybe the heat is affecting my brain!?!? I am off for now to finish tidying up so we can head to storytime at the library and get some new reading material for the week.
