Frozen

It is finally here!  My kids have been waiting for Frozen to come out on DVD for FOREVER it seems.  They were thrilled when I told them this was finally the week!  Was there anything else for us to do other than rush right to the store to get it on Tuesday?  Nope, there wasn't!  Actually I needed a few things anyway, so it just worked out that way and my super-thoughtful husband thought I needed a night off from cooking.  Have I mentioned how much I love that man?  Anyway, we have watched this movie all the way through twice already and the kids are singing the songs all around the house.  Even Henry is singing- "yet it go, yet it goooo."  So cute!
It is really a cute movie.  You should buy it now while it's cheap.  Well, cheap-er!  It is $15 at Walmart for a DVD, and Disney movies always go up to around $20-25 for their normal price.

I must admit I was pretty excited about the movie too.  We saw it as a family of 5 back in December.  It was Henry's very first movie.  Well, he and Dustin saw half then skipped out and went to Bojangles!  Stinkers!  I think he would have made it through the whole movie if there weren't 37 minutes of previews first.  Ok, so it wasn't that long but it was a lot!  He was so adorable in his big boy theater chair with his popcorn and drink in his lap.  And nope, I'm not biased AT ALL!  :-)

Carson is a little bummed it's about girls-but he still likes it.  I explained that he got to see the Planes "boy" movie last summer.

I will say this is one of my favorite Disney movies.  I like them all, but some more than others.  Carson is all about Toy Story right now, but I cringe when it gets to the "You idiot" part....can't remember exactly where it is.  Emilynn actually used that on Dustin one night and it did NOT go well, as you can imagine.  I am not a fan of things like "stupid", "dumb", and "idiot" and not sure why they have to use them in some of the movies for kids, even Disney ones!  I guess it just goes to show you have to monitor every single thing your kids watch.

Anyway, Frozen is great-well worth the money to own it!  We've watched it twice through already and can only watch DVDs in the car right now.  Maybe that means we spend too much time in our car?  That's what happens when you have kids in extra-curricular activities and have to wait a lot!
