I have finally, finally been able to load all the pictures off my new camera (well, new to me a year ago!) onto the computer. I had ordered the cable I needed, then I realized I should probably get a power cord, just to be safe. I ordered that so I wouldn't risk having the camera battery go dead mid-stream, possibly causing me to lose pics. I for some odd reason got a notion tonight to do all this, set all the cords up, and could not find my instruction manual. Urrghh...twenty minutes and lots of tearing the house up-I finally find the manual and start loading pics. I had about 1300 or so to load. Yes, I love taking pictures and actually haven't taken that many this year, or it doesn't feel like it. I also loaded all the disks from last Sundays photo session, which was about 1500 pics I think. I've been up to my eyeballs in pictures! I've been able to work on our Christmas card, a few gifts, and change the blog pic-in case you didn't notice! I will have many pics to share in the upcoming weeks-so stay tuned! For tonight, I'm exhausted. I can only deal with so much technology at once. :-) It's just not my "thing." It does feel good to get a task done that I've been putting off forever!!!
And since it's Wednesday already- Happy 9 months to my little baby Henry! Where have the past 9 months gone? He is such a big boy now and growing every day. I will post his new stats tomorrow, as his 9 month check up is tomorrow morning. Another reason I need rest......more later!
